Zachary J Storc

My background includes over 6 years of hands-on experience working with a wide variety of restored natural areas and human altered landscapes. My foundational experiences focused primarily on the restoration and management of the tallgrass prairie ecosystem where I gained practical experience managing invasive plant populations, collecting native seed, and performing prescribed burns. Now as a master’s student in the Baer lab, I want to explore how we can better set restoration projects up for success by focusing on areas of research that can provide improved insight into restoration practices. I am particularly interested in research that aims to better understand how changing climate and land management practices influence plant community dynamics within restored grasslands.
