Research

I investigate how climate alters the recovery of tallgrass prairie restorations by utilizing long term plant and soil data from a restoration chronosequence. Additionally, I want to understand how experimentally imposed drought at the beginning of a restoration can alter plant and soil communities and ecosystem functioning.

Research interests:

  • Restoration ecology, community ecology

Teaching interests:

  • General biology, Biostatistics and Principles of organismal biology
